The Charlton County School System will conduct its FY27 consultation meeting
for parents of home-schooled special education students who would like to
participate in the proportionate share process. The meeting will take place on
November 19, 2025 at 10:00am at the Charlton County Board of Education located
at 37 Touchdown Lane in Folkston, Georgia. The meeting will cover the
following:
Child Find process
* The proportionate share amount and how it is calculated
* How the consultation process will operate throughout the school year
* How and where proportionate share resources will be used
* How the district will notify parties about disagreement of services
