Charlton County Schools will begin the 2nd semester for students on Wednesday, January 6. As a reminder, every Wednesday is an early release day. Staff will return to work on Monday January 4.

If your student has tested positive for COVID-19 over the Christmas break, or has been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive, please keep him or her home and contact your student's school on Monday, January 4 to discuss the timeline for their return to school. All students and staff are encouraged to follow CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines regarding masks and social distancing whenever possible.

The following link has valuable information and is a good reminder about what to do when you or a family member have tested positive for COVID. https://dph.georgia.gov/isolat... Additionally, the link below has information about what to do if you or a family member have been in direct contact with someone that has tested positive. https://dph.georgia.gov/contac... Both of the links above can be also found on the district website at Charlton.k12.ga.us.

We hope everyone has enjoyed the Christmas break and we look forward to seeing students on Wednesday for a great start to 2021!
