Mrs. Amanda Cooper's class celebrated the end of the school year and their two graduates, Tiara Maxwell and Malaki Mobley, during a cookout last Friday. Alec Rhoden, Bennett Roberson, and Joseph Zetmeir helped cook for the celebration. We love Mrs. Cooper's class and we are so proud of these 2024 grads!

I am not sure we realize how fortunate we are here in Charlton County. We should celebrate our students, teachers, coaches and parents. We are blessed with some of the best and brightest students and student/athletes who come from some of the most supportive parents anywhere. We have well rounded students that achieve in all areas. A special thank you to Dr. Audrey Pickren and our distinguished FFA chapter at CCHS. We were named the Outstanding FFA Chapter in our area for the 3rd time in the last 5 years. Thank you Dr. Pickren and her students.



Career Day 2024 at CCHS
Thank you to the business community for your participation in the career fair today. We had 51 businesses represented. A special thanks to Dr. Josh Howard and the CTAE department for making this happen. Because of the wonderful behavior of our students, we will make this an annual event at CCHS.

This is our CCHS Teacher of the Year for 2024 Ms. Tracy Willis with her wonderful gift. This was created by our very talented Mrs. Rebekah Peeples. It took a while to make this special gift, but we wanted everyone to see it.


State Championship Trophy for Girls Track- First time in school history that we have won a state championship in girls track. We are not 100% sure, but we think this is the first time we have won a state championship in any girls sport. Congratulations to the maidens and coaches. We will have some more pictures and information tomorrow from Coach Jones.

Teacher signing day is headed up by Mrs. Jamie Haynes. We started this program in 2019 and have teachers in Charlton County that were our first signees. Here is our largest group ever at six.
