Teachers at CCHS celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week a week early due to state testing this week. We are so thankful for the local businesses, individuals, parents, and grandparents that donated and volunteered to make the week special! Your generosity and support means the world to us! We would like to encourage everyone to shop local and support these wonderful businesses that consistently give of their time, talent, and resources to support our community! Special thanks to the following ladies that spent time collecting donations and organizing events to make our teacher appreciation celebrations a success: Breanna Knowles, Melinda Knowles, and Monica Mayer.
We are proud to recognize and celebrate an incredible group of students who have committed to pursuing careers in education! As part of Georgia Educator Signing Day 2025, these students took the first step toward becoming the next generation of teachers, leaders, and difference-makers in our schools and communities.
Their passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for shaping young minds is inspiring, and we couldn't be more excited to support them on their journey. I know everyone had a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week. I never thought I would not be able to be there. I have always enjoyed calling the names over the intercom. I've done that for quite a few years. Thanks to Mrs. Melinda, Mrs. Breanna, Mr. Cooper and Mr. Harris for their help in our TAW celebration! Thanks for all you do!
ATTENTION CCHS SENIOR PARENTS: Your child has been sent an email about the Senior Brunch to be held May 16th. The email has the information and details about the brunch along with a form to fill out. Please have them fill out the form along with bringing the money for their guests as soon as possible. Thank you so very much!
Thursday consisted of hamburgers and hotdogs cooked by our very own Assistant Principal , Mr. Cooper. Desserts provided by CCHS parents. A special thanks to Sue Crawford, Cindy Thomas, and Cassandra Morgan for setting up for the meal and coordinating desserts. We appreciate all you do .

Taco Tuesday and Soup and Salad Wednesday was a hit with our teachers and staff. Chill Zone was on campus for a sweet treat as well. Thank you to all who have donated your time and resources to help make this week possible. A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.

CCHS kicked off Teacher Appreciation week with a variety of Biscuits donated by Burger King and some yummy Kubs Coffee. Friendly Express donated some of their fabulous Hunts Brother Pizza for lunch....and we topped that off with some sweet cookies donated by the Harveys Bakery. Thank you all so much for showing our wonderful teaches and staff all the love today. A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart!
Due to lack of participation, the Bow Bunny Blitz cheerleading fundraiser has been cancelled. We hope to revisit this fundraiser in the future.
CCHS would like to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Sandy McDonald and Mr. Anthony Jackson for their generous Prom Angel donations to two students at CCHS. They work hard to fundraiser throughout the year in order to provide prom essentials for these lucky students. In doing so, they honor the memory of their late daughter Coco. This is the sixth year of the Prom Angel program. Through this program, the students selected receive a gift bag including gift cards for attire, grooming, and dinner. This award helps alleviate one of the many financial burdens that these students incur during their senior year. Congrats to this year's recipients: Makayla Milton & Tyler Alberson!
