Beginning Monday 8/11/2025, parent pickups will be released at 3:05. Pickups will be in the same location just the release time has changed. This change is to help with the after school congestion with traffic. Thanks in advance for your help with this.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Athletic Director Jeff Schwing will be in the CCHS Media center tonight from 6PM- 7PM for the last round of football reserved seating sales.

Please use the attached map as a reference for the traffic patterns at CCHS. Bus Drop Off and Parent Drop Off is in the front of the school. The entrance to this is through the front (Construction Entrance) off of Indian Trail. Parent Pickup in the afternoon is behind the school (follow the loop). Student Parking is in the back of the school and Visitor Parking is on the Front Office end of the school off of Third Street. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate the construction of the new school.

Chartlon County High School hosted a retirement luncheon for Mr. Danny and Mrs. Lisa McCoy today. We are privileged to honor these two, who have poured so much love and support into the students and staff of CCHS. Congratulations to Jack Braddock on signing to play basketball at South Georgia State College. Jack has exceled in the classroom and on the court, and we know that he will continue to make Charlton County proud! Congrats Jack!

Inclement Weather Plan for Graduation


The Charlton County HS FFA Chapter received the South Region Area VI Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award for the 2024-2025 School Year. Mr. Stacey Beacham, South Region Agriculture Education Director, for the GA Department of Education Agriculture Division and other South Region leadership team members as well as Agriculture Education officials from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton visited CCHS today and presented FFA Advisor Dr. Audrey Pickren and members of the local chapter with their new sign which will be displayed for the next year. This is the second year in a row and the fourth year out of the last seven, that Charlton FFA has received this award. It is a testament to the hard work of Dr. Pickren and her students and to the outstanding support of our Charlton FFA Alumni and Supporters and our students’ parents and families. CCHS is extremely proud of Dr. Pickren and all of our FFA members!
