CCHS would like to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Sandy McDonald and Mr. Anthony Jackson for their generous Prom Angel donations to two students at CCHS. They work hard to fundraise throughout the year in order to provide prom essentials for these lucky students. In doing so, they honor the memory of their late daughter, Coco. This is the 6th year of the Prom Angel program. Through this program, the students selected receive a prom gift bag including gift cards for attire, grooming, and dinner. This award helps ease some of the financial burden that arise during senior year. Congrats to this year's recipients: Stephanie Greer and Trevan Cobb.

Charlton County High School is proud to recognize four outstanding students who have achieved an incredible accomplishment in the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition! These talented writers were first selected as our school-level winners for their grade levels. They then advanced to the RESA district competition, where each of them was named a district winner. This is an outstanding achievement that reflects their creativity, dedication, and writing talent. Because of their success at the district level, their work will now move forward to compete in the state-level Young Georgia Authors competition! Please join us in congratulating Mia Jacoby (9th Grade), Caitlin Varnadoe (10th Grade), Ashlyn Carver (11th Grade), and Colton Crews (12th Grade) for representing our school so well. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and wish them the best of luck as they advance to the state competition! Great stories begin with great writers, and we are proud to have them here at CCHS!
