Our Weightlifting team finished 4th in their 1st ever Conference Championship! We had three 1st place winners: Tim Sapp, Elijah Bryant and Hunter Spradley. And four 3rd place finishers: Chase Mitchell, Javion Lambert, Trent Hamilton and Raquon Jones! Congrats to all the boys!

The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors writing competition is to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics. Congratulations to these students!
Congratulations to Lucas Homrich on being accepted into the Georgia Music Educators All-State Honor Band. This is the highest honor in middle and high school band and is a major accomplishment. Lucas qualified for the audtion based on his district-level audition score. On January 7th, Lucas traveled to McDonough to audition against ninety other middle school percussionists for a spot in the prestigious ensemble. He will travel to Athens in March to perform with the All-State Band. We are very proud of Lucas!
