Due the severity of Hurricane Irma on Charlton County, USDA has granted a waiver which will allow all Charlton County students to receive meals at no charge for the dates of September 18-29, 2017.Original meal status payment will resume on October 1, 2017.Should you wish not to have your child participate in this waiver and prefer to pay for meals during this timeframe, please contact Dawn Dean...

All schools in the Charlton County School District will resume a regular operating schedule on Monday, September 18, 2017. There are areas in our county that may remain without power and more time is needed for these families. While our county has done a wonderful job in repairing roads, there are a few roads that remain impassable.

All Charlton County Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday, September 14 and 15, for students.  Faculty and staff are to report Friday, September 15, 2017.  School will resume for all students Monday, September 18, 2017.

Please be advised due to continued power outages and poor road conditions, all Charlton County Schools will be closed through Wednesday, September 13, 2017.  We hope to resume normal school operations beginning Thursday.

Due to the probability of power outages, flooding in the Southern end of the county, and potential storm damage from Hurricane Irma, the Charlton County Schools will now be closed Monday and Tuesday, September 11 and 12, for both students and staff.
