FES Orff Ensemble
Fall Semester Schedule 2019-20, revised October 15, 2019
Orff practice occurs on Thursday’s.
3rd grade Orff Ensemble students will combine with the choir on some designated Tuesday’s for a combined rehearsal before a performance.

Thursday, October 3rd, 2:40-3:45pm
*Tuesday, October 8th, 2:40-4:00pm, Mandatory Choir/Orff combined rehearsal
*Saturday, October 12th, Okefenokee Festival Performance
Performance @ 11:30am @ Train Depot Museum in downtown Folkston. Wear long blue jeans, black choir t-shirts, and comfortable shoes or tennis shoes. Flip flop sandals are not appropriate for performance on the risers. 3rd grade Orff students will wear their red Orff t-shirts.
*Thursday, October 17th, No practice due to 3rd grade level concert. 3rd grade choir/Orff members only will perform with their entire grade level. They will also share at least one song with 3rd grade choir/Orff only.

Thursday, November 7th, 2:40-4:00pm, xylophone piece preparation
Thursday, November 14th, 2:40-4:00pm, xylophone piece preparation

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2:40-4:00pm, Mandatory Choir/Orff combined rehearsal
*Holiday Luncheon Performance, date is TBA
Students may wear holiday colors. Girls may wear holiday dresses. 2nd and 3rd grade students will perform two times together. The first performance is at approximately 11:45am for the 2nd grade lunch period. Then, they will perform again at approximately 12:20pm for the 3rd grade lunch period. I need 2nd grade students to stay and perform for both lunch periods. Thank you.
