Charlton County Stakeholders Meeting

     The Charlton County School System would like to invite community members, business leaders, parents, teachers and all other interested parties to attend a stakeholders' meeting.

This is is your opportunity to learn about the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CLIP), the Equity Plan, College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI). Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), Title I Parent Engagement, Title II, Title III, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title VI-B. During this meeting we will collect written feedback.  We invite you to join us to learn more about Charlton County School District's strategies and resources to strengthen our schools and community partnerships.

GADOE Title Programs

Our mission is to provide technical assistance, resources, and program monitoring of local education agencies to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high quality education and to achieve proficiency on high academic standards.

  • Technical Assistance - Our Title Area Specialists, Grant Program Coordinators, and other Program Specialists, interpret state and federal law and provide guidelines for implementing Title programs, address specific questions and concerns regarding Title programs, and provide information and assistance in implementing various requirements and guidelines. 
  • Resources - Our division provides a number of electronic tools and documents to local school systems to ensure effective program implementation. We also provide area meetings and a statewide summer conference for local school systems and school staff to provide professional development. 
  • Monitoring - Our division regularly monitors Title programs at the local level to ensure compliance with regulations as well as to assure the delivery being utilized with at-risk populations.
